Boots 75% Sale

Several of us have been told it starts this Wednesday, 11th January. :j Others have noticed stock disappearing from shelves, with suggestions it might have been put to "one side", prior to the sale. Boots apparently have no items, whatsoever, for sale online.

If anyone gets any definite news, or any Boots SAs can help, perhaps they could kindly post here with any updates. Thank you. :beer:

I was told by SA that it was planned for Weds but thinks they've changed it....would love to know for sure so i can book a day off lol x

Went to my local Boots today and bought one of the FCUK bags with 75% off and asked the sa if they were going to reduce anything else by 75%. She said they will but not just yet. She said they will probably reduce the large sets that they have alot of stock of 1 at a time and then reduce the rest at a later date.

She said it will all go to 75% off but she didn't think it would be just yet. I used this branch for the 75% off sale last year and whenever I asked the sa's in there for info on when it would start the info allways turned out to be right.

I said before that judging by the way they reduced the coverlook pallettes, then the FCUK bags it stands to reason all the other big items will be 75% off in the next week or so to encourage shoppers to buy the other items at 50%. I am 99% sure this is the way it will go and won't be 75% this week coming.

But saying that it's anybody's guess and it could be any day over the next two months but using business logic I would say week after next. And as for no stock online, pull the other one. Everything is still listed on the website, you just cant access them through the sale link. Why would they take the website down for a week and not remove these items from the website during this time if they have no plans to sell anymore online. You are not fooling me Mr B!

Oh, I see! You reckon that there will be a sort of rolling 75% sale, with OOTW at 75%, and other stuff remaining at 50%. Well, I suppose anything could happen!

I think it was last year that some kind person who passed a branch on her way to work let us know at about 8.30.

My 75% off sale receipt from last year is form the 20th January if that helps. That's when it started.

It was delayed by a week last year (and the year before) because of the snow. I have had a hunch all the way it will be the 11th but most others seemed to think it would eb the 18th but I guess we'll soon know.
