I just use white vinegar and tee tree oil for my bathroom spray, I do the daily swish and swipe too ;)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

Thanks for that! Does the tea tree oil stop the spray smelling too much of vinegar?

As I understand (although I don't use vinegar as a cleaner) the smell goes off within minutes anyway.

I've used it before as a fabric softener, the clothes don't smell of vinegar. I don't use it now as I couldn't tell any difference, which is the very reason why I don't use fabric softener. ;)

tea tree oil is an antiseptic and cleaner.
Eucalyptus oil has cleansing properties as well.
I dilute vinegar 3-1 for use in the washing machine and my clothes don't smell of it once dry.
I should thing that 1-1 would be fine for bathroom wiping and the smell should not be a problem
