Hi guy's. I hope I can get some help. I have lost my wage slips from my former employer. The problem is the company is no longer in business. I am struggling to get my mortgage now because I can not produce them. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks Jay

Sorry but I'm not sure why you would need payslips from a former employer?
You usually need to provide your last 3 payslips & these will need to be from your current employer to meet the requirements of most mortgage lenders.
If you have only recently started working for a new employer, the mortgage co may accept a copy of your contractual letter as long as it confirms your annual salary and that you are employed on a permanent basis.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

If you haven't got your old payslips, and the company is no longer in business, then there's nothing you can do really.0

As others have said, it’s unsure why you would need slips from an employer that’s no longer in business, and who’s no longer paying anything to you.
However, as the slips are not recoverable, you need either the P60 (per CH27’s post above) or, possibly, the mortgage company may accept copies of your relevant bank statements showing the company name, and amount / date paid in (assuming it was paid into your bank via BACS).
I have (once) had a bank statement accepted by HMRC as evidence of a payment, when I’d lost the original document.

As others have said your P60 should do. If it was this financial year that you left that employer then your P45 could be used instead.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
