npower orbs

lol, i joined upto npower to try n save some cash on gas and leccy(after seeing it on here somewhere, that some places give you cash to save money, so i shoudl hopefully get £30 and i got my free unexpected orbs too), the change over isnt for a couple of weeks, but this morning i got 2 cute little npower orbs complete with adoption certificate thru letter box this morning, lol
been saying i wanted em ever since i saw them on the first ad but didnt know you could get them, now all i need is a monkey
they are apparently meant to be in special 160 packs of PG Tips as from 29th Jan, none of our !!!!!!!g shops have em tho, thats not fair

i dont know if this should definately should be posted here but it seemed the right place as its a freebie

Just keep an eye on Npower - check your Direct Debits - I found them a terrible company to deal with.

Dont be too sure there, i had prepayment meters with npower i had endless trouble with them i got myself into about £30 credit then after having alot of probs with them i switched to british gas and all of a sudden i owed them money:eek:  they are very rude on the telephone too.

I'd love to get some of the orbs tho they are sooo cute!!!

  • Just to say I'd be wary of Npower too -

I was with them until recently, my direct debit bills just kept going up and up so I switched to another company. At the close of my account NPower OWED ME £195.11 !!! So why did they keep putting my bills up???!!! I just don't get it!

Still, I received a nice check this morning for the amount they owe me. Just a shame it's already my own money :rotfl:

I have recently signed up with npower & paid by d/debit. What do you mean by "check your d/debits?" isn't it supposed to be the amount we agreed on when we signed the contract?

If I'm not mistaken, I think we have to notify them the correct meter reading for both fuels every month in order to get the accurate charges for them to collect d/debit.

Also in order to collect the £60.00 cash back for both fuels, I have to wait until the 1 yr anniversary of the contract Dec 2007!!. At the moment I'm just using for maybe 3 months and if they genuinely save me a vast amount of money I might stay until end of this year. If not, I'll switch to another company via cash back sites like : rpoints or quidco, etc. At one time Powergen was offering internet winter savings (good deal but it was too late for me to change back to them)
