Revaluation

Hi

How soon after a mortgage can you request a revaluation to release more funds after home improvements. I know it's 6 months with Halifax but is that the average with other lenders?

Thanks

It's not a case of "request a valuation".

It's a request of apply for additional lending and they'll tell you if a new valuation is needed as part of that process.

It will be at least 6 months with most lenders, unless the mortgage was agreed up front with some sort of flexible lending faciltiy.
