Well today has been a strange one. I have finally realised that I demon child's behaviour is perhaps a little mote than normal naughtiness. I spoke to her teacher, fully expecting her to tell me that they hadn't noticed anything, but instead, while assuring me that her behaviour is very good and academically brilliant, she does have a few quirks that they have noticed - routine and dislike of loud noises etc. Anyway, went to see health visitor this afternoon and they are going to do a full assessment. I was so nervous before I went that I felt sick cos while I want to know, I don't want her labelled and it's all running around in my head.
Still at least I don't have to worry about money so much. The CCCS is now on board and hopefully they are in the process of asking all my creditors to freeze all interest. I am happy that I will be repaying all the money I owe (although hopefully without the interest) cos I do feel that I spent it so I have to repay it. The CCCS now take a payment from me each month (for more than I was paying each month before so I can repay asap) and distribute it between my creditors. 4 years and counting. I don't know if I can make overpayments yet but hopefully I will learn more as i go along!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -
I hope all works out ok with demon child if its any help my son is and was terrible for routine and loud noises but now is a very large 16 year old Grade A student but always good to get things checked out, wouldnt be right if we were all the same
Great news on CCCS it must be a huge weight of your shoulders and 4 years thats fantastic and if you can make it sooner even better but dont forget to live a little too.

DMP is on - first payment goes out on Wednesday. We are actually writing everything down that we spend and at last my dh is actually taking notice, slowly, slowly but we're moving in the right direction. Obviously he is still spending but he is amazed at how quickly it's going. Weird that we have no back up credit cards but quite liberating too. What we don't have - we can't spend. Mind you dd no3 has brought a trip letter home for a Spanish trip as part of GCSE in may - £580!!!! We have paid £60 to date so now have to figure the rest in to the budget - I refuse to make the kids go without because I am rubbish with money!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120
