Sometimes some shops will sell stamps with a 10% discount - I am not sure if any are doing this at the present time?

Not sure about local to anyone else, but my local WHSmith is currently (well, as of last week) selling a book of 12 2nd class stamps for £4.10 (22p saving on normal price). I know it's not much but it helps! Will update tomorrow if mine still is :)
    Thanks to all posters :A

All you need to do is listen out this Friday 30th March for our Feel Good Friday competition on Heart Breakfast with Spence & Angela.

They'll play you a 'mini mix' of songs, if you can identify the artists then be ready to text the word 'PRIZE' to 82122.

We'll choose one texter at random and call you back, if you get all the artists correct you're a winner!

    Many thanks for that

I feel I will limit to second class (which nearly all are sent by already) and probably limit my entries to just some of them. Several years ago I did quite well with competitions (nothing very large but lots of smaller prizes) and in the last year or more the wins have dried up completely. The number of entries plus they now often allow entries from telephone, email and text as well.

At 50p for second class it will be cheaper to phone with cost of envelope, time taken to write details etc and then cost of taking to post office (different for all of us of course) since some phone comps are cheaper than others..

    Many thanks.
    :)
