Cheap glasses

Just wanted to share this with you. I've just had my eyes tested at Boots (free due to tax credit exemption). Seems I really need glasses now. I asked aobut getting some old ones reglazed and was told it would be £80 for reglazing + £50 for thin and light lenses which my presciption would need to stop them looking thick and being heavier one side than the other. So £130 minus the £36.20 I could get off for my NHS voucher (that they provide for you when doing your test). Told them I would have to wait until the end of the mont when I get paid again. They offered to keep my voucher and presciption til then but I said I'd rather keep hold of it.
Did some checking on the web and found i could get some cheaper ones online, but wanted to try them on first. Looked at ASDA opticains as my mother had said how good they were. To cut along story short I could get their £50 glasses (or 2 for £80) these included the the thin and light lenses for FREE. I'd then get my £36.20 off and only pay £13.80. To top it all, when I tried them on I realised they also had a small range that were FREE with NHS voucher, and I found a pair in there I prefered.
So my glasses are absolutely free and I've not had to wait for the end of the month. A saving of £113.80!
