Impulse sprays 49p at boots

I went to the Advantage Card machine today and for a voucher for 25 percent of any female anti-perspiration or body spray.

Boots currently have a big sale on these items and Impulse sprays are £1.99 reduced to 99p. If you use the voucher with it, it takes the 25 percent off the original price so I ended up paying 49p!!

There were printable vouchers for the same discount off bath and body products which are also on sale so some good buys to be had!

Excellent thanks, I still have a couple of 50p off vouchers from when the cans were on offer at 89p elsewhere so hopefully they will accept them if I buy a few other bits- making the impulse free

I printed this offer 3 days ago and after reading this post decided to try it today.

Unfortunately it no longer works, the till would not accept it - just beeped. The SA said it is because it is already on offer. She also kept my unused voucher so I decided to pop my advantage card in the machine and this offer is no longer there, but other vouchers I printed out 3 days ago had returned!

Went into Boots this morning - printed 3 vouchers from the advantage card machine :
25% off deoderant or body spray
25% off shampoo
25% off Bath foam/shower gel

With two of the items it beeped and wouldnt accept the voucher so the sales assistant removed the item (ie scanned it again to remove it from my sale), then scanned it in again which it then put it through as 75% off the normal rrp. After all the faffing around I ended up paying £1.53 for a bottle of Herbal Essence Shampoo (normally £3.49), a can of impulse body spray (normally £1.99) and a bottle of Original Source shower gel (normally £2.20) :T:T

you are lucky to get any good vouchers off the machine..i was only offered 2 on saturday..one was for photo-book and the other for travel insurance
i'm sure they realise that im a cheappie-freak and dont offer me anything :mad:

Why didn't the SA who served me think of that. She said it wouldn't work because it was already on offer and also kept my unused 25% off bodyspray voucher. I will check the advantage card machine on wednesday or thursday to see if the offer reappears.

My friend and I printed one of these vouchers each, mine went through fine and i paid 49p but when my friend handed hers in it beeped - the SA called her supervisor who said it didnt work on reduced products, when she pointed out that mine had worked the supervisor put it through manually
