Time to start again

I have had many a diary and stopped as soon as I get started, so this time as I have lurked and procrastinated long enough I have kicked myself up the backside and started to say NO, I have recently had to give up my part-time job due to health issues so this leaves my DH as the main bread winner, He has recently changed his job to be nearer to home which will also save on fuel costs, I have restarted my £2.00 challange. My Challange for today is to declutter the kitchen which is where I start my NSD just need to get rid of the surplus and the broken as I haven't been able physically to do any thing to have CFS(Chronic fatigue syndrome) :( which plays a major part in our lives so will have a daily plan to get jobs done.

We are now on a DMP which is comfortably managed and has got all our debts under one roof, so just the household bills to get straight hence the declutter keep busy NSD's.

Well done honey bear. A new year and a new start!
  • Hi well done on posting, I suffer from ME and know that even the smallest chores are a huge challenge, well done on starting the kitchen, this is always the last room to be done in our house and i know it should be the first.

I write a list of jobs i would hopefully like to complete by the end of the week instead of daily ones, that way if i dont do anything one day it doesnt matter to me so much.

  • Well done, you will need to keep walking in and looking, thats what I do ignore the other rooms lol.

I have hoovered through out today and have painted some sample paints on the wall which my son thinks are horrible. Said he will have to move out if the lounge is purple he is only nine.

Well done on starting to see your debt go down, we have got our first payment going to CCCS on the 10th of this month. Everyone has been good apart from next who passed it on to a solicitor who have told be today they are going to a charging order on our house for the grand sum of £550. I did phone them and gave them our ref number from CCCS and told them there is no point in sending letters to try and scare as if I had the money spare then I would of paid by now.

Well done on tackling debt and decluttering. I don't want to pry, but if your CFS is very bad, are you entitled to DLA benefit? Or do you get Statutory Sick Pay?
    regards

Well done on tackling your debt.We have been on a DMP with CCCS for three years now. They have been a huge help, not least because we no longer get those awful letters through the door! Hang in there it does get better!:)
