in Cutting tax
just completing self assessment for working at home as a designer. have claimed 30% of annual cost of telephone and internet costs (virgin bills) and wondering how much could be claimed for gas and electricity? work space is used for business and personal. any help would be appreciated, thanks.
also purchased new computer, printer and router during the tax year 2010/2011 and have claimed this cost at 50% is that reasonable?

I claim a nominal £3 per week for utilities.
The percentage claims for the other items look ok to me, as long as they are accurate for your business usage.I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0
