Hi TankGirl,
Didnt want to read and run. Its always tough when the person you are closest to find a significant other and you end up feeling lost as they suddenly don't have as much time for you.
I dont have much advice except the usual things, maybe join clubs to meet new people. You may not meet great friends, but it gets you out and about and gives you something to do. I have found that has helped me, although a lot of people I meet I dont see as good friends, or ever likely to be that, but its still nice to have a chat to someone once in a while.
