  • The Lidl one is lovely, but I mix together the Tesco Value one and the Lidl one and that comes out fine. I do tend to use fruit with it too though!

Lidl also do a "Luxury Fruit" variety, never tried it as I always go for the fruit and nut variety.

    Probably worth a try.

  • I used to make muesli yogurt pots for breakfast during the week. Pot of basics natural yogurt, tin of fruit cocktail and asda smart price museli (as much as I want put usually around two cup fulls). I prefered the asda one due to the taste of the flakes, sainsburies basic one tasted totally different and didn't need anything "posher".

About three months ago I was looking to buy some when I was in sainsburys and another lady was there buying 6/7 bags of their basic stuff.I asked her if it was o.k. as she was buying so much and she said that her OH absolutely thought it was the best on the market and he had tried them all
At that time they were 62 p a kilo so I bought one bag and tried it and found it so nice I went back and bought half a dozen myself I think they are now around 94p a kilo now so I have saved a few bob by doing this but they are delicious and I streeetch mine out by mixing a handful of sainsbobs bran flakes in with it and a few chopped dried sultanas or apricots .A bowl of this at 7.30. (my breakfast time fills me up until my lunchtime at 1.00 and I never bother having a snack mid morning now as I am full and don't need it .great if you are trying to lose a few lbs as well as being healthy for you.

I love Jordans muesli. I rather pay more for decent one and have less as I know the quality is good

Just to add my vote for the two Lidl varieties. The only ones I prefer are from Dorset Cereals but they are ridiculously expensive compared to the Lidl ones.
