I need to gain a Maths GCSE and English Language A-Level, does anyone know the best quality site which you pay to do these, please?
Would be great if was less than £300!
I'm a mum and a student, so I'm looking to do this in the very little time I have free to be able to teach after my degree
Thank you!

Could you study independently and then sit the exams at an external centre? You would need to find a syllabus that is exam only to do this.0

Try your local college first as it can be very difficult to find an examination centre that will take independent students. Also tend to be cheaper than online colleges and you do get proper tutorials.
Why do you need English A level by the way? There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.0 -
I need English A-level as I did do it at AS and A2 level but in a teen stupid moment, missed the exam and failed

So its just something for me to rectify

Ok. Good reason.
With the current rules for teaching I would concentrate on getting the best degree possible as it will only be for those with a first or a 2.1 (it sounds like you've already started your degree)
Trying to do it all (and be a mum) might be a bit much. A levels don't really matter once you have a degree especially if you are a mature student. There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.0 -

Not difficult at all - the examining boards hold a list of schools/ colleges that are willing to accommodate independent students, and they are numerous.0 -

College evening classes are best. I did start a Botany o level once with one of the distance learning companies but found it hard to keep going on my own. College is much better.0

I think that is true in theory but I also think in practice it can be very difficult to secure a place. It seems that any candidates, external or internal will add to the college/school's assessment in the league tables so they are reluctant to take on someone they don't know will pass.
At least that is my understanding locally from home schooled children.
Perhaps if you develop a relationship with a local college and they got to know you it might be easier. There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.0
