As mentioned, you breached the contract by not keeping up with repayments and this is likely to have extended the loan. You changed your conditions not Welcome Finance!
The amount in charges and extra interest is normally a lot more than £1.24 a month for any loan, let alone a 10 year loan from a company like Welcome Finance!0 -
No way it is going to be £1.24 a month to cover arrears, additional interest and missed payment fees etc.Thinking critically since 1996....0

I have spoken to them again today, and the total amount of default sums is £84, and total default sum interest is £32. I can post statements to prove it. I think it is because it is simple interest no compound.0

Where do I stand legally here are they not in breach of contract or something.
Surely, if you missed payments then you broke the contract, not them.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
