i'm sorry if this has been asked before.
what is the best time of the month to make your overpayment?
i.e. is it best to make your payment as soon as possible at the start of the month or is there a better time through the month?

I wouldn't have thought it mattered. These days interest is usually calculated on a daily basis so you'd be paying less interest as soon as your overpayment is credited to the account. So pay as soon as you have the money available.A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.0
