As you will be part of a team of assistants you may be asked for examples of when you have worked effectively in a team (or something similar to this) - if you can think of examples before the interview you won't be so stressed.
Other possible questions might be about how you would deal with difficult students / complaints etc. So again have an idea of what you might say in reply.0 -
Experience of cash handling? Working on a till if that is what they use?
And then generic team working, communication etc!

You will, without a doubt, be quizzed on your food hygiene knowledge, primarily storage and food handling. If you have done a food hygiene certificate you will already know about the need for safe storage and production of food from delivery of ingredients to safe handling, preparation, cooking and serving. I suggest you read up on any notes you still have and familiarise yourself with the required cooking/holding temperatures of food etc, storage methods and potential for cross contamination. Good luck

Child protection will be asked about. 'What would you do if two children are fighting?', 'What would you do if a child discloses something to you?' etc. Have a look at the school website and see if they are operating any healthy eating initiatives etc.
Other than that, I think that you have covered the key points.
Good luck.0 -
Make sure you know and understand HACCP and COSHH. Colour codes of chopping boards, tempretures any healthy eating promotions they have running ie HFS in scotland. Goodluck.0
