It is something I would seriously consider paying for given her lack of confidence. She has just turned 17 now and is currently at college to become cabin crew (ironic since she is so shy). I think the issue is in her head, I'm not sure if someone has commented on them in the past and that has made her self conscious, when she laughs she never shows her teeth, its more like an extended smile iykwim. She takes good care of her teeth so I am sure the money wouldn't be wasted, the only issue is coming up with the money, although its not unaffordable there are other things that our money perhaps could be better spent on.Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

The important thing to know is just what result can be expected, and how stable that result is likely to be.
The only way to be absolutely sure that the teeth will stay where they are at the end of treatment will be to have a wire permanently bonded t the bck of the teeth.
Anything less than that, and there will be some movement back at some point.
Have good information before parting with money. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
