I wanna buy a cheap tablet for a youngster

As the title says really, hopefully about the £60-£70 mark but definitely under £100. It is for my son who will be 10 soon and will want it for apps and general browsing, any advice would be appreciated.

Hehe..are you kidding? In that budget you'll only find a cover for your tablet. Why don't you buy him a scooter or get him a kindle, if he likes to read...?

Thanks for the reply, he already has a scooter and I have a Kindle. I was hoping for some suggestions as i have seen many tablets under £100 and i am not willing to spend a lot on a 10 year old but i am not sure which are ok.

toys r us had basic tablets (7 inch ones) just before xmas for £99 and they may be reduced now? They weren't the kiddie versions but just cheaper teenage models I suppose

It is on Amazon as well, gets some good reviews, but dont blame me.

They sell these on ebay also for around £49.00

If you search "google android 2.2 7" sorry would post link but cant with being new.

Edit: ive had 1 of these and there not bad if you only want it for simple things like apps & browsing.
