once again.
Did you put your grievance in writing?
a) wouldn't you have to have childcare when you go to work anyway? So do what you normally do with them and get yourself into the office.
b) the manager can do an investigation into a grievance with the person you allege bullied you, but to finalise it he also needs you there to talk to, or he's just taking one version of events to give a dressing down, isn't he? Not very fair.
Can we not focus on something more useful like finding a new job?
And yes - I wouldn't serve notice, as SarEl says there is an excellent reason for not doing so yet. I'd call ACAS back and ask them what it might be.Debt free 4th April 2007.

Give it up Emmzi. The OP only wants to answer questions that suit them. The manager clearly should have sacked the other person on the spot and none of this would have happened. And it's pretty pointless poiting out that you don't get paid for periods that you fail to turn up to work for. I'm sure ACAS will arrange for the OP to be paid for a period of time she didn't go to work for though. After all, they may not know the law, but they are above it0 -
I have just spoke to ACAS who have advised me that I can go for constructive dismissal if I am still there on the 4th of feb.
I do not want to go down this route, I only want what I am owed.
My employer has not let me return to work since the start of december- I am owed my pay for that month.
I shall now be putting in my 4 weeks notice to them.
I have been advised I am entitled to my 2 months pay and holiday entitlement of which I will be asking for.
I did not want lots and lots of money, the purpose for asking about constructive dismissal was to sort out the employee who was bullying me. Why should I stay at a job when I was being treated so unfairly and for him to treat me the way he did.
ACAS are now calling my employer regarding the greviance procedure and to arrange a fair meeting between myself and an employee who is not going to be biased regarding the situation so it can be heard properly.
Thank youBirthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.
