    I'm 21 and whenever I used to stay at my Grandma's house, the heating was never on in the upstairs bedrooms.

    She was in her sixties, I was in single digits. We're both still going strong. To be honest, it was just chilly until you warmed up the inside of the duvet.

    I think she's had central heating less than five years, and that was because the local council insisted on installing it.
