Bad nails

Hi guys,
I have really long nail beds. Which is great because my nails look good painted even when short (I keep them short - I do a lot of typing), but perhaps not so good for their nutrition...
My nails especially on right hand keep spliting all the time. I don't know what to do about it. I eat good balanced diet (lot of fruit&veg and meat), I also take vitamins (just 1 a day), eat diary, file my nails with glass files only and always use gloves when cleaning/washing up.
I have tried Sally Hansen nail cure vanishes etc, but no help there.
Anyone had the same problem and managed to sort it out? Any advice?
Thanks

I have the same problem, except I have short nail beds too and different shaped nail beds on different fingers IYKWIM. My nails have always been weak bendy and split easily, despite having strong and healthy hair, bones and teeth!
After years of trying, I have given up on them completely tbh, just accepting that's what I was given
I keep them filed very short, keep the cuticles pushed back to keep them tidy, regularly exfoliate my hands and use lots of cream to keep hands and nail area moisturised. I can't use fakes because of work, but treat myself for hols, special occasions etc. My hands look and feel so glamourous then!0 -
Try Vitamin E pills...you can eat them or break them and use the oil on your nails too.
Also, which way do you file your nails? A lot of people file their nails going back and forth, if you do this, just file them in one direction, it will help a lot.
I know that Mavala has a great product that's suppose to help with brittle nails. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

May I recommend using a Leighton Denny crystal nail file, and OPI Nail Envy. I'd be surprised if that didn't help.
