Hi,
I have an endowment with legal and general that has been running for 18 years, me and my ex partner split just 2 years into the policy but she was never removed from it.
We still have contact and she has agreed to sign the policy over to me so when it matures i can pay of some of the mortgage but she lives in a country where the postal system is a nightmare and after two atempts at sending the documentation she has received nothing.
Can this be done electronically (faxed ,Emailed).
Thanks for your help Harvey

Nope. An equity of redemption is a legally binding document and no insurer will accept anything but the original.

Almost certainly not. Deeds of a assignment (or whatever version is being used to do the same thing - there are a couple of ways of doing it) are a legal document and I cant see any accepting copies.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
