Debt so bloody confused :(

You say "but just means I won't be able to go out as much, a bit of sacrifice". Are you not going to make a real sacrifice then? When I was in debt the cycle is only broken (I found anyway) by really crunching down on spending and spending on only essentials. You must budget on paper and stare at the figures to see how much is going on non-essentials. Nowadays my mind would blow if I paid any interest on a card. It's worth the sacrifice and then you have to keep it that way - that's even harder.

I totally agree, I am in debt, I hate it, that horrible feeling and now I know in order to get where I want to be (on £0 and start again) I need to sacrafice and dig deep and turn it round otherwise I will only get myself into more debt.
The way I am doing it is budget myself to £50 per week and thats it. Whatever I don't spend then the following week I will have double. I am now planning to avoid spending by routing myself to other free activities, e.g watching series of films twice a week, going for walk in the evening, gym at night and above all get rid of any cards I have online to do with shopping and spending. I really am punishing myself but I know it will be worth it.0 -
Well, I think you're on the way to getting the problems solved. Well done! Keep it up!
