AutoGlym pack for £1! Oh, and six magazines...

You know the score: sign up to the Auto Express magazine with a direct debit, get your six issues and your free car-care products for a quid and don't forget to cancel your subscription (and the DD) when the six WEEKS are up.

They're a reputable company that publish many major magazines so I don't have any worries about what they'll do with my details.

For the record, AutoGlym stuff is grrrrrreat! Just don't wash your car with the included sponge... I've no idea why a company dedicated to automotive care would put a sponge in the pack in the first place

Anyway, enjoy the offer: AG is good stuff and the magazine apparently isn't bad either!

Cheers :)

[Edited 'cos I said six months, not six weeks. Wot a muppet :D) Thanks for pointing out the mistake M20DAL]

    hi

please note cancell after 6 weeks not 6 months

    its a weekly magazine
  • Just ordered it, thanks :)

Weekly crud, im going to be on holiday the 6th week :(
  • Shouldn't matter Tomlewis007, I cancelled after about the 4th week (mid November) but still get the mags!

You may have to chase them for the freebie though - I signed up for the free AA route planner offer in October and only got it in Jan.

Might just have to get OH to sign up for the Autoglym stuff. Then again, my cars are 1996 and 1999 so probably aint worth the bother! :D
  • Don't forget to uncheck all the boxes about being contacted if you don't want to be deluged by magazine offers!
  • PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE!! I subscribed and had an email this am saying £14.99 is being taken out of my account in two weeks and not the £1 I signed up for!!! Check your emails carefully! Post here if you have the same problem please"

Didn't have any problems with mine! I got:

"First issue due: 14th February 2007
1st Direct Debit to be taken: 21st February 2007
Amount to be taken by Dennis Publishing Ltd: GBP 1.00 for 6 issues
Subsequent payments of GBP 14.99 every 13 issues
    AUTO GLYM KIT
If there is a free gift attached to this subscription please allow
    28 days for delivery."

I'll cancel the DD on 22nd February (well, unless I've had a magazine and really like it, of course)

Sorry to hear you've had problems :(
