Paying debts off early

I am in a position to pay some debts off early that I have been paying via direct debit at a set amount each month for some time. I have contacted the creditors who have offered me settlement figures (valid for one month) and I was just wondering if anyone knows are the figures they give set in stone or is there a possibility to negotiate further? Thanks in advance, any advice will be most appreciated!
