Mortgage advice

Hi all,
Just after a little advice on getting a mortgage...
Situation is this, we would love to be able to buy a house, we have both owned before but now are renting. My husband had a property reposessed and is currently paying off the outstanding mortgage owed, we both have a bad credit history, i am a stay at home mum and he is newly self employed. What are the odds on being accepted for a mortgage?
(yes i know its not a good situation but any advice would be great)
Cheers x

Little to none, I would think. As time goes by your chances will improve and these will get bigger, faster, by the size of deposit you can save.I am a mortgage broker. Focus on clearing your existing debts first, in particular the old mortgage.0
