Capital One Finance
Took a payday loan with this company, the original loan was £300, i had difficulties in repaying and have since joined a good DMP plan yet this weekend Capital One took over £750 out of my bank, without my consent and against the DMP. I have called them and say they are entitled to take money owed and that due to late payments fees etc they have only taken what was due
Can i do anything ?

Payday loan companies will always try to make money out of your account if there is any in there. If they can get back their money that way then they won't accept your DMP proposal (which is only a informal proposal they don't have to accept it). They money they took will be in accordance with the original agreement you had with them and that is in effect your consent..
Did your DMP provider not tell you that you need to open a new bank account with a different bank and take all money out of the old account? This is essential if you enter into a DMP and have payday loans.
Who is your DMP provider?
You could ask the payday loan company for a breakdown of the fees that they've charged you to see that they are correct.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
