Argos have leather effect ottomans for £26.99 that get good reviews (think I might pick 1 up myself) this link to the brown 1 has a video which is helpful to get an idea of the product, seems to have a wall in the middle which may be a pain but probably needed for strength. There are also cream black & red ones available.

I have this and it is great, strong enough to use to sit on and looks good too. I also have the smaller version which we use for storaage and as a footstall.

Thanks romstand I'm off to pick mine up later, had to smile at 1 of the questions on the red 1, someone asked if it was pillow box red, I assume they are thinking of pillar box red.

I purchased one of these over 1 year ago and the first one had black marks all over it so we returned it and went through another 5 boxes in store to try and get another but they all had marks on, but we really needed it so got the best one available. I have just gone through the reviews though and they seem to have changed it so it now has white lining as i assume the lines were coming off of that (was black).
Might be worth checking this before you leave the store if you're having to travel to make sure you have new stock.
Apart from that, it is great. Fits a lot of toys, is very sturdy and is fine taking an adults weight.
