I'm presuming we're discussing synthetic fillings. There are so many out there - if you go to a department store they will have 4+ different types at different prices with the same tog rating. I note that some boast a cotton cover so that is a differential, but what separates the others??? I ask this because £8 or £10 sounds amazing so when I recently spent £30 reduced from £100 (king size but not much difference in price to double) was I still paying too much????
This sort of thing.

Does anyone know if the home and bargain silentnight ones are just to order or do some stores have them. If you order online is there a charge or can you have delivered to your local store? Thanks0

I just went through the ordering online process to see what delivery was and it was £2.99 for 2 duvets which is very reasonableA home is not a home ..... without a dog0

I buy all my duvets/pillows as "seconds" from a large manufacturers shop - there is absolutely nothing wrong with as far as I can tell.
13.5 tog king duck feather and down duvet - £20, should have been £100
2 pocket sprung pillows (which are brilliant for stiff necks etc ) £8 - should have been £25 each
Can you please enlighten us to the name of this shop and where it is please? really hoping its in my neck og the woods.

how i see it is,, buy a cheapish duvet and just get a new one 1 year later.. cos if u buy an expensive one u will want to wash it and keep it.. probably spend more money than buying a cheapish one.. iyswim0

A duvet (no matter how cheap) should last longer than one year if it is taken care of so no need to replace every year.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -

I received my two double duvets from Home Baragins today. Marked NQP which it also states on their website.
I have only opened one, it has two red marks on (like marker pen) so possibly store returns? I havent opened the other.
£6.99 for double 13.5 tog is a bargain even if it is marked. I paid £2.99 delivery for both.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -

Have ordered and received two 13.5 Tog king size duvets from Home Bargains. Opened them up yesterday. One had a slight dirt mark on the duvet otherwise it is okay and the other is a 12 Tog double size . Not happy with that one.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way
