how to get a free haircut

I have heard of women getting free haircuts but never new men could.
My local barbers has a newly trained barber and he was telling me how hard it was to get people to practice on.
anyway check out any local collage which have a hair dresser course, they also have barbers course and the students need models on a daily basis to pratice haircuts.
(not a shop with a training school because they will charge you)
it's Ok if your a bloke and they mess you hair up because most men ask for short back and sides anyway. Don't know how you stand if you a lady and they make a mistake but nothing ventured.
So If you have some spare time go and ask if they need any models (it cost £7 in my barbers and I go once a fortnight).

My daughter's on a hairdressing course at college and I go there whenever Im off work to get my hair done, its not free though, but its a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a salon. Having said this though, my son went in with her last week so that the tutor could demonstrate cutting men's hair and it was free, but I dont think they'd do that as a matter of course.0

I did go along for a freebie a few years ago, but they tend to target their requests for models at local businesses.
However, I had a cut and cap highlights this morning and it cost me £15. They have various specials through out the year, so it's definetly worth keeping on eye on what they're doing. They were doing barber cuts for £1.50 a couple of weeks ago.0 -

I tend to have mine done every 6 months, often gfet a cheap/free haircut. Currently have a £4.50 vidal sassoon haircut voucher and a form for a free cut at the hair group, but i'll usually go Toni and Guy - £10 here, but i've had several for free as its a challenge for them to work with my hair XD~*Cerenia*~
