This may be of use to some people. The 1.5TB Western Digital Hard Drive is available for in store collection at PC World, down from £79.99 to £59.99. Unfortunately, not available for home delivery.
I have been looking at the 2TB disks which are going at £85 on Amazon; £90 @ PC World.
Or, if you really want to part with £79.99, you can get the 1TB Western Digital at PC World!
These drives tend to get good reviews, shame our nearest PC world is 1 hours drive away!

Good Offer - But no Stock near me0

OK if you don't mind your external HD being mains powered...0

Yes - they do require a seperate power source, but on the plus side, these are "Green" drives, which means that they cycle down when they are not in use. I have an Hitachi drive that has the same feature. There is a slight lag when opening the contents of the drive, about 3 or 4 seconds, but really isn't that much of an issue.
Hope that helps!0
