Need a new home office chair but cant handle another uncomfy high street one - help!

Hi all,

I'm after a new home office chair. I should note that I work from home as a programmer so I need a very comfortable, and preferably ergonomic chair (i.e adjustable back support and if possible adjustable headrest) that can cope with very long days.

I've been using a chair I purchased from Argos a few years ago, they replaced it a year after purchasing it when one of the legs snapped almost breaking my neck in the process, but this replacement one has finally come to an end, the metal support that fixes the chair to the base/pump has literally ripped in half - not something that can be fixed, and its way out of warranty.

I've been looking around for a replacement but cant seem to find anything thats affordable. I really cant spend much more than £150 - money is tight until the end of the month due to christmas.

In an ideal world I'd buy a Herman Millar Aeron but they cost an arm and a leg. Thats why I'm here! I was wondering if anyone had any decent recommendations. The only close suitor I found was on Amazon by a company called 'Lindo' but the reviews were all dodgy (looks like they may be fake) and the only honest review slates it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)
