Buying & Selling on eBay

I am going to try buying items on eBay for the lowest price (haven't yet decided what yet) but I will need two accounts - one for each.
Is it possible to facilitate both accounts with one PayPal account, does anyone know?
Also, does anyone else flip items like this, if so what sort of things do you look for?
Thanks everyone
Stuey

Yes it is possible to use two ebay accounts with one paypal account in fact you can have up to 8 email addresses so 8 ebay accounts for each paypal account.
Many peoople, myself included, do buy and resell- however I doubt whether anyone will tell you what they deal in. Just remember though that you must factor in all your costs for reselling, including ebay and paypal fees, postal losses, unsolds etc. Plus of course you will need to register with HMRC and pay the appropriate tax and nI on profits.
For general help with ebay and paypal come and ask questions on the ebay board here on MSE (see my signature)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi Soolin,
I've just been mooching around on eBAY and stumbled across ebook collections by famous and current authors (Andy McNab, Martina Cole, Stephanie meyer etc) and the sellers say that these books are in the public domain and free of copyright, but how can this be? Surely these "collections" are illegal, yet are openly sold!Regards

Just because someone tells you something is legal- doesn't mean it is. If you opt to deal in dodgy goods then your ebay selling career will be very short indeed. Find somehting else that is being 'undersold' and turn it round with better headings and better descriptions. It can be done if you find a niche market .
It's always a good idea to refer to the ebay policy as well:

I am a writer myself so would not consider selling these items, it is theft and I cannot see how eBay can allow them to be sold so openly. Thanks for responding so quickly.Regards

Yes current authors cannot be free of copyright as the rule now is that copyright lasts for the authors lifetime PLUS 70 years. But please dont make the mistake of thinking all e-book collections are illegal as copyright does expire plus some current authors may well make their books available for free - I have e-books of both types downloaded to my Kindle free of charge and if that was illegal Amazon would not allow it to happen.0 -

Amazon cannot stop people using software on their kindles that allow pirated material to be used.
A quick look on ebay shows e books that definitely contain pirated items that are apparently able to be used on a kindle. Someone who wnats to break th elaw can easily find ways of doing it. It's just the same with MP3 players, there is nothing at all to stop people loading illegally downloaded music.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
