I have been looking at the Aldi Graphic Tablet on offer from tomorrow at £24.99. It says its USB with cordless mouse what I wondered is does the mouse only run on this and presumably when the Graphic Tablet is plugged in via a USB post?

I got one of these last year. Although it's badged Tevion it's actually made by Aiptek (120 dollars in the states), and is identical to the Trust badged version that sells here for about £70.
I think the mouse will only work on the tablet but frankly the mouse is rubbish, mine went straight in the bin. The pen works fine, you can program the button and tip to a number of permutations of left/right/double clicks and there are 24 programmable buttons along the top for shortcuts.
I use a USB cordless double wheel scroll mouse and the tablet will simply plug into a spare USB socket and work alongside the existing mouse with no problems.
This is a great bargain, I use mine for professional photo retouching and drawing, and it gives you powerful extra functionality, 256 levels of brush pressure.0
