morgan8080: "ive been apprached by jd law"........How did they approach you? did they know u had a probem?
  • I looked on another site similar to this and think i made an inquiry and they called me, so i should re word that i approached them in a sense as i didnt understand what they did.

I think i m going to let them have a look into it and see whats what.
They did say that if any claim is under 5000 they wont go ahead with it in small claims court.
  • Hi I am new to this, but can anyone who has had a secured loan let me know if it is possible to offer a full and final settlement offer as I have just been made redundant but the full amount will not cover the amount outstanding on the laon so I was going to offer a one off payment!
  • I recently got a quote for a secured loan from a company called Fluent Money -Have they a good track record?

This whole secured loan thing terrifies me but we have 20K on credit cards...

Fluent Money are new to the market. Their directors used to run another Loan company but it went bust... decide for yourself...

ive been apprached by jd law re unenforceable loan and claiming on a no win no fee basis. I am thinking of doingit but it takes about 8 months should i be sucessfull.
No ppi but taken through a broker, i have a partially signed credit agreement. its for 35000 but settlement figure is 40not sure what to do about it all

You will have a job to seek unenforceability as the loan is £35,000 and will therefore be unregulated
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.
  • hi, I have never had a missed payment with them up to now! I took the loan over 10 years and still have 6 left to pay of approx 10,000 including the interest, not far short of what I borrowed in the first place, but I was going to offer a settlement of 6000? as I dont want to be left in a position where I pay this lump sum off and then find I cannot keep up with the repayments anyway.
  • oh! the loan is with GE MOney

Ok. How are you raising the £6k? Are you selling the property or are you raising it another way?
