Decided that 2012 would be the year I try to reduce my debt.
At the moment I have £5000 on a Halifax Credit Card which I currently pay £65 a month minimum payment.
Self Employed with around £10,000 a year income looking to snowball everything I can off the card.
Is there any way to reduce interest to easy repayment?
Not sure about using a 0% transfer as it only would solve the problem for up to a maximum of two years and not sure I could qualify for one.

I think the best way would be to transfer over to 0% balances at least if its for 2 years then thats still a saving for 2 years isnt it.
They wont reduce the interest for you as far as I am aware.
What to do is just before the 2 years are up transfer over to another 0% & also try to pay a bit more each month if you can.
I know that its easier said than done.
Good luck

Not sure I will be able to get a 0% card, going to save a pound a day and got a load of stuff to go on ebay.
My other half is holding on too my credit card so no more spending...
Also looking to get extra work to get more off card.
Just received a cheque from GoCompare for £20 for taking out Car insurance plus around £80 in loose change
Another £100 off the card
