2012 - do you feel lucky? Well ... do Ya, Punk?

I like Clint Eastwood ... and I am a silent man, as you all know.

Now, what about 2012?

Do you feel confident?

Do you feel worried?

We have been told, for over 4 years, that the whole system will collapse .... we have had a 5 day warning, a 2 week warning, a 1 week warning .. every kind of warning.

And what has happened?

Diddly Squat -that's what .... nothing has changed, we are all plodding along merrily, most have work, most own their homes, most have good savings, most have had decent pay increases, most have paid down debt ..........

Most of us seem to be doing just fine and dandy - and so, I for one, am very confident about 2012.

Houses are selling fast for asking prices here in the South, payrises are running at around 6%, secure employment for those with brains and the ability to use them, big savings, income from BTL's, Final Salary Pension Schemes and zero debts.

2012 will be a year where those who do - do .... those who just talk about it - don't. As it has been throughout time ......... let's crack on with 2012 - it's going to be a damned good one from where I am standing.

I do believe most others are not concerned either - but, would like to hear your opinions.

    Of course we do. :)

If people feel happy with their situation, they don't feel the need to bang-on about it.

It's like the guy in the pub who tells you how much he's getting, when everyone knows it's probably the other way around. ;)

Well, I'm glad the Forum is now made up of those with a joyous outlook on life and finances!!

For too long the misery gits have had their say here ... pulled everyone around them down.

In my thread in Discussion Time I last year predicted that by summer 2012 there will be unmistakable evidence the economy has begun it's new and sustainable meaningful growth phase into the next era of prosperity.

Sure America has trillions in debt, but many parts of the world are quickly growing and even the US has reasonable growth. The UK can and will be fed by this rapid worldwide growth.
Ok Europe is problematic but even here some nations are growing well.

Technology is the key. Huge changes are currently underway taking us into the next tech revolution.

The Government has been laying foundations that will see the UK emmerging as a powerhouse once more. Many of you will laugh at this - but I'm sure I'll be having the last laugh.

Overall I'm pretty confident about the next few years but still a bit wary of the here and now.

I'm sure you are absolutely right ..... we left the woods in Summer 2011 - 2012 will see us soar upwards!!

You'll always get sad losers who will not get off their rear ends to make their lot a better one - tough luck on them I say!
