OH received something similar for £2.20 but also had a message "The amount to pay is small. If you do not wish to pay this now it will be added to your next statement"

I assume there is a minimum amount before they give an actual payslip.

It also says The amount to pay is small. If you do not wish to pay this now it will be added to your next statement"

But they go interest will be added if you pay late :/

What should my dad do ?

    Cheers
  • He should be able to pay via the HMRC website if that helps...

I would post them a cheque if that is what your dad is most comfortable with - you can use the HMRC published "blank payslip" which you can find here:

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/payinghmrc/payslip-sa.htm

The link also has the address to send the cheque to.

    Hope this helps

The money can come from you - HMRC don't care where the money comes from!!

Pay it via BillPay using your Debit Card.

Do not send a cheque if you don't have a printed payslip. The OCR line on the bottom is vital for getting it processed correctly - and blank payslips significantly increase the risk of error.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
