My PS3 has a HDD corruption problem.

A lot of companies advertised on the net, but a bit risky to send PS3 in the post to a random website, so if anyone knows a local repairer I would be grateful.

Watford, St Albans, Borehamwood, Barnet, Bushey, Stanmore, Edgware, Mill Hill....

  • Have you tried replacing the HDD? If your PS3 works with a different HDD (in that it boots and you can play games etc) then all you'll need to do is get the data off of your old one if you need to. Local computer repair shops could do this or even a local IT Techie. You could then copy your saved games etc onto the new (or old) HDD. Then, if you don't need the other HDD, you can sell it on - someone will always want one.

Also, if you're wanting to try a new HDD, you could probably get a cheap second hand one that's about 20GB or so.
Proud to be dealing with my debts!
