  • Yes, on the sole above the word "CROCS" it says made in Romania, on the slopey bit of the sole on one side it says boulder, colorado, on the other it says, https://www.crocs.com , has no-one else seen any Romanian Crocs??!!
There's also a little smiley crocodile picture on both circular bits on the strap...do these sound authentic?? I got them in Sole in the Trafford Centre!!
Yes I have seen crocs made in Romania in a local department store in Windsor called Daniels. They seemed to do a lot of Caymens made in different countries ie China, Italy, Mexico, Romania - I actually ended up buying a pair made in USA.
  • I have just become a Crocoholic, and having read through all 34 pages decided to register so I can join in to - another sad case. Anyway, My first purchase was a pair of Gold Mary Janes in size 10 (uk 8) from e-bay. Ordered size 10 as although I am a uk size 7, the 9's were too small when I tried in a shop. My Gold ones are made in China and I wore them for a day and they were comfortable but I felt a little too big.

So I went in search of some more. Went to Windsor in department strore called Daniels - they had lots all made in different countries - I spent over an hour in there trying on different pairs. The same sized crocs in the same style came in differently depending on which country there were made - can't understand why this is as surely they must all use the same original mould.

Anyway came away with a pale blue pair of caymens in M8W10 made in the USA and a red pair of mary janes made in china M8W10 (yes I know I bought the same size mary janes as the gold ones and they were both made in China but the red ones came up both narrower and shorter than the gold !!!! ) Both comfy and happy with both. Guess I will have to re e-bay the Gold ones.

Came across an actual sizing chart which you can print off and place your foot on to check your Crocs size https://www.shoesite.co.uk/croc-sizes.asp. Just make sure you print it off at 100% and measure the scale guide to make sure. It might help those of you who don't know what size to go for. At the end of the day it really depends on how they feel on you regardless of what the size on the bottom says, and I can buy shoes in 61/2 from Next or Clarks, size 7 in other shops and even size 8 in Tesco so it just shows you there is no standardization.

oops forgot to mention I also have a pair of fushia/lime athens and my 2 year old daughter has the fushia caymens. Got my eye on the wedges (can't remember the name off hand) but think i've spent enough this month.

At last My Crocs have arrived!
The order was Mary Janes (Lavendar size w 9), Cayman(khaki m6), kids caymans ( red size 1) kids caymans (yellow size 10/11) and kids caymans (cotton candy size 8/9).
Ordered from Taylor shoes on 25 April and they left the U.S on 30 April. Then they sat in customs until I was notified and paid charges yesterday, so finally got them today! So, had to wait 21 days in total.

The cost :Shoes and postage £87 ( very good exchange rate) and customs charge- VAT plus parcel force handling charge came to £18.
Total therefore £105 which is roughly what we would have paid for 5 pairs from Look at my crazy shoes( buy 4 pairs get 5th free)

The Verdict ; We got sizes and colours that weren't availabe in U.K, and Taylor shoes were very helpful, the invoice included with the parcel was for a much lower value than the actual amount so I assume we paid less in charges.

The crocs ; New colours Lavendar and cotton candy are lovely. The Kids won't take them off, even my son who is very fussy about shoes. Mary janes suit my long skinny feet much better than Caymans, but the sole isn't as thick, so aren't quite as comfortable. Still much better than all my other shoes though.

I can see us all becoming as addicted as the rest of you here, I'm already thinking of ordering some cleos, or maybe primas, or sassaris.... arghh , so much for money saving!

I ordered my crocs from https://www.taylorshoes.com at the begining of may. |They were despatched friday 4th May and arrived today, one pair of caymens (purple and very funky), on pair professional(boring black for work) and one pair prima in seabreeze for a colleague. Total price £62.50 inc. postage. Cannot fault their service and delivery was faster than some uk shops offer.

  • am waiting for my primas to arrive from taylors- ordered the candy cotton and black ones . i had to reorder as the first two pairs were too small, so i am planning on ebaying them
typically the jibbitz i ordered from another site arrived first .

also does anyone know where i can buy jibbitz in bulk cheaply? i am planning on doing a crocs decorating party for dd and her friends over the summer and would like to have a large amount for them to choose from- not too bothered if they are characters or not.

Have a look on Ebay at the US sellers of Jibbitz as they are quite reasonable for "bundles" and the postage is also cheap. I'd avoid the sellers from Europe as their postage seems expensive.

The Disney ones are slightly dearer. I'm going to wait until we are in Florida and see what I can find there.
