    Hi everyone,

Just registered just so I could join in this conversation - how sad am I?

I have eight pairs of Crocs:

2 Cayman purple & sea foam
3 Mary Janes black, burgundy & lavender
    1 Endeavour/Aspen black
    1 Cleo in turquoise/sea foam
    1 Nile in black

Have ordered from Taylors 3 times now. Just made bulk order of 8 pairs (for others in my family too) & got whacked with £36.50 VAT/Customs charges but still worked out about £18-£20 p/pair.

OMG- I wish I was you. Ha ha. I can only dream of owning 8 pairs. How fantastic.

US sizing is 2 sizes bigger than UK. I wear UK 7 & US 9.

Just ordered sea foam Sassari & off road black/black & Sobek black/black both for my Dad. Waiting desperately for a black/white pair of Sassari but not desperate enough to pay £50 on Ebay when they should be in stock within the next couple of weeks!

OMG- I wish I was you. Ha ha. I can only dream of owning 8 pairs. How fantastic.

I think I need some advice on buying my first pair of crocs.I have always worn trainers when I am not working so am looking to buy a pair that will replace them. Will the Cayman style be up to everyday wear and tear or is there another style to go for?I would rather have a style with the holes in the top instead of the closed top.I am afraid I do not like the brown/black style.BTW I am a man in my fifties.

    Thanks

I wear my Crocs every day and I would reckon they would stand up to more wear and tear than a pair of trainers and you can pop them in the washing machine for a quick clean.

I would suggest looking and trying on in a shop but for a wider choice of colours and/or styles its best to order online.

Check out this site for some reduced to £20 as perhaps the Butter colour might do if you don't like black/brown.

  • I hope I get my Athens Crocs soon. I might order the Beach style next month. I have huge blister on my heel where my other shoes have rubbed me. I just can't seem to get comfortable shoes.

I love my crocs and bought several pairs lately whilst on holiday in New York.

However, I have been getting a lot of electric shocks every time I get out of the car and touch the bodywork. I have taken particular notice of what I'm wearing each time it happens and the only common item of clothing each time are my crocs!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Aaargh I was gonna post on this thread this morning about static shocks. Got a pair of purple caymans a few weeks ago (thanks Edinburghlass for your help& advice) and when I wear them I get wee electric shocks especially when I touch the car. Thought I was going mad, glad it's not just me. How do we solve it though?

we need those little metal strips that they used to put on cars to earth us..

Don't tell me I'm the only person old enough to remember the metal strips beneath cars........

Wow! I totally underestimated these shoes. When I've seen them in the shops I've just assumed they were some hippy beach shoe but now it seems they are some orthopaedic wonder shoe. They even sell them in Blacks!

I want some now. The question is, which ones to get. I'll probably find somewhere to try them out before ordering, but I need to decide what I want them for first.

Also, my foot is a funny shape. I have wide toes and a narrow heel. Is the back strap adjustable? Anyone have any reccommendations.

Like the fact they are odor resistant - got the !!!! taken out of me because of my sandals last year.

This thread has been almost as revelationary as the mooncup thread!
