Someone posted a link to fakes on Ebay earlier in the thread and in fact the description said Crocs style I think. But I checked the photos and you could tell by the ridged bits on the inside of the shoe.

One seller of "fakes" on Ebay had an auction pulled as I was watching the auction.

I was in Leeds yesterday and found 4 shops that sell Crocs, but they only stock the Cayman and Endeavor. I was so disappointed cos I'd made up my mind that I was going to get some.

The official website shows about 20 different styles, and they're gorgeous!

I'm going to New York later this month and can only find one shop (through the link on the website) that stocks them - can hardly believe there's only the one shop, does anybody have any better info?

I think this is the big advantage of buying online as you can get which ever colour and style you want but its a good idea to try them on in a local shop to see which ones suit you.

Also friends of mine who were in Florida last year looking for them found even there that the colour and style range was limited because as soon as they came into stock they went out again! Apparently they sold some 200 pairs a day.

logos on the buttons-usually the fakes don't have any or just any old thing not the real croc. NB IMHO from trying on a a lot of crocs :o most button lgos have a smooth feel, but there arer some real crocs with a slightly riased/embossed feel to them. Also, though the logo is usually on both buttons, it can be only on one (these were in house of fraser, so I beleve genuine).

THe pattern of nubbles on the inside is a good guide- certainly on ebay you can usually tell from that on the photos- sory of fluid "foot shaped" lines of nubbles- not hexagons etc- you need to eyeball real croc to know.

The sports soccer ones appear to be made from a very similar mould though- the dead give away is the feel of them.

You can't telly by the fact that the word "crocs" may be in rounded or angular script this seems to vary with where they are made and is OK. THey are made all over the place!

As promised, I'm posting as my Disney Beach crocs have arrived from Taylorshoes.com. They are fab. They arrived yesterday so took just 12 days to arrive and no customs tax to pay - not sure why but sigh of relief.
Can highly recomend this supplier in America!!!

Did it work out cheaper to buy from Taylor Shoes, including postage?
