  • Has anyone bought from the US online?

Can get some Mary Janes online at $40 inc shipping- so £20 instead of £29.

    How long would it take?
    April Grocery challange £175

dont know if this will help or hinder but our local shoe shop let mrs teb take home a size 6 and a size 7 cayman to wear about the house (carpet only, lol) for a while this morning. as said before, the 6 was borderline for length and the 7 was possibly a better fit lengthwise but it was much wider and harder to walk in. we'd downloaded the size chart from the crocs website see here and according to that, her foot was just marginally over the line for the Uk 6/ US 8 and the UK 7 / US 9 should have been the right size for her but it was just too baggy and kept slipping off.

she ended up keeping the UK 6. she thinks she got too hung up on how the crocs should fit that it was making her too uncertain. she does say that they would be better if they were slightly longer but she's had them on for over 2 hours now and she says they are comfy and once she'd forgotten about what they should be like, she was happy with them.

    women!

Thanks teb...My foot is right at the end of the size 6 and I am just about to return a pair of beach ones as i think the cayman fit slightly better on me..I am so stupid though cos I was in america last week and tried a pair on for $30 but didn't like them and now I am paying double to get a pair..I could kick myself..My kids want them too and it's costing me much more now...
My hubby is off to canada in 2 week so I will have a list for him too...Are they cheaper in canada as they are the states?

mrs teb has just had a pair of Beach crocs delivered from jelly egg. they're much softer than the caymans she bought from the shoe shop the other day. they've also got a small flaw on the front but she had cut the tag off a split second before she noticed it.

has anyone else noticed a difference in softness between beach and cayman? we're wondering if the beach ones she got are not quite right as no-one else has mentioned this and the crocs site doesn't say anything about it.

Look at this website they have crocs for £16.99 in loads of colours too
  • woops sorry just realised they are like crocs thats why they are cheap sorry
  • I got the beach ones from jellyegg too as they are only £22 at the mo. I can't tell any difference in softness between those and my kids' caymans from fitfeetuk (£17). Maybe if they had recently been kept somewhere warm they might be a bit softer?

Just off to order another pair from jellyegg as I spoke to them earlier and they have just had a load more stock delivered!!
I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!

:j I got a pair of purple caymans for £28 in a shoe shop in Lochee,Dundee called the Foot Factory (think they might also have shops in Aberdeen and Peterhead if that is any help to anyone) might have gotten them cheaper online but thought it wasn't worth a saving of a £ or so with the bother of waiting for delivery and using my credit card and remembering to pay it (ok I admit I have no patience I wanted them NOW:o )
Only problem is I haven't had a chance to wear them my 19 month old daughter went WOW WOW as soon as I got them out the bag, grabbed them put them on her tiny feet, and proceeded to stumble about in them all afternoon. When I thought the novelty had worn off I put them on (very comfy) and nipped out for a minute, when I came back in the front door my dd ran up to me and helped me out of my crocs, how sweet I thought she's helping mummy. WRONG:naughty: little madam was blooming stealing them and climbed back into them herself for another stumble about:doh:
So if anyone see's any bargains in the kid's crocs let me know as it looks like I'm going to have to buy her her own.
    Booo!!!
