The top one is the day, the bottom is the night.
I only have 2 readings on my meter.
Then the water heater timer is not set correctly. It should have used the 3kWh at night rates.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • I probably didn't even turn it on... Haha!
The 3kWh is what I would have used uring the day with the Laptop/TV/Kettle.

  • I'm such a t!t.

I put the timer on for the heater, it was turned on and everything.. BUT I didn't realise that there was a bit that said what the time 'now' is.. and when we moved in, we'd played around with it to see what it did... and at 11am this morning the timer thought it was like some time nearer midnight, so it would have heated up today during the day... and my boyfriend turned it on earlier as there was no hot water so we've used 8kWh today! :(

At least changing the storage heater has saved us some night electricity!

  • Again, no hot water today despite setting up the timer on the heater correctly for 4am - 6am ... and also turning it on this time. So had to turn the timer off, so we could heat water for an hour during the day.
