Defaults

Hi Guys,

Is there a template I can use to get a company to prove they followed procedure to put a default on my account?

I was in talks to settle a debt and have recently notice the default be placed on my credit file, I have had no letters etc to say this would happen. So im sure i remember reading somewhere if they ahvent followed procedure I can ask them to remove it and Ill settle the remaining balance outside of the default?

Is this right, or am I getting mixed up here :)

Thank you in advance

xx

    Hi Miss 149.

Let's straight with the basics who is it to, how much is it, are you still paying it. Has it been passed to another company and a bit of brief background.

That should. Give us a bit more to go on

Sorry, yes more info should have helped...!

Well its wonga (head hung in shame!) Ive learnt a TOUGH lesson with payday loans :) No more at least, aprt from this one. It was for £280 and I couldnt afford the repayment so I was in talks with wonga via written correspondence to agree a monthly repayment plan of £50 per month until repaid.

Then all of a sudden, Default from December and its been passed to Gothia according to my Wonga account online? Im not sure who issued the default as it only shows as 'quickbridge' on my credit file.

But i havent received anything in writing, e-mail or postal about being issued a default. If i knew they would do this I would have borrow the money from my family and confessed at least then I could have repaid my parents instead!

Its stil showing at for £280 on my credit file, but ive worked really hard to get myself back in order as me and my OH are saving for a deposit to buy a house together in 2-3 yrs time but if this stays on there Im ruined again :(

    Thanks!
