Cat litter tray with hood, bargain!

Hi all, we are picking up our new kitten next week so I have been checking out all prices for various cat items that we need. We were after a litter tray with a hood and most are anywhere from £15 upwards (normally more..)plus delivery if ordering online...however I was in a large text extra in Milton Keynes today and they had them in various colours for £3.75:j they are not online at this prices, in fact they seem to be sold out online, I think it is this one though and pretty good reviews http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-3407.aspx .
HTH someone!

You still have to clean it out. If I ever get another cat I'm going to try a litter kwitter. Appears to have good resale value as well going by ebay.

Exactly. Good luck crawling inside that thing with a hand trowel.

Or you could use your noggin and unfasten the top to get to the tray. Its a excellent price and saves having to clean up litter thats been thrown out when they scratch and cover like they do.

Had one, tried it. Cats chose to go on the floor rather than the litter kwitter.

A friend of mine has a kwitter litter thingy. The cat uses it occasionally but most of the time just goes on the floor and stinks worse than a litter tray. Think I will just stick to cleaning out the litter tray,
  • I've had a cat who used the toilet, just got up there one day and done the business. Also had a cat who was fussy and wouldn't use tray if a hint of a whiff so would line up with the hole in the bath and go wee.

Thanks I have one I paid full price for and it is great as it is quite roomy, the cheaper small one I bought else where is far too small and the cats always hang over the edge, I dont use the hood though.
  • I tried the little kwitter too - the cat wouldn't entertain it. Just looked at me as if I were silly and pee'd in the bath.
