Well done - I'm glad you didn't let some of the ignorant people on this board put you off doing it. There is absolutely no reason why people should assume that if you offer a full and final settlement that you are just trying to cheat the banks. It's a shame that even on a site where everyone should be supporting each other, there is so much judgement and prejudice. Juggling your debts around and trying to save money here and there doesn't help everyone to get out of debt - especially if your debts are very high. Unfortunately it seems that there is a lot of jealousy when someone has the time and inclination to look at other options! Let us know how it goes Knightsy.

Good luck with the final three.

I'm in a lot more debt than you are and have just made contact with payplan to go through the options, so the roller caster will just be starting for me.

I have to say that you are making the best of a bad situation and if you can reduce the debt as much as possible, within the rules then what's the problem.
