Waitrose today mega cheap xmas stuff being marked down

Went to w-s-m waitrose at 1 pm today and they were marking down loads of stuff to really cheap prices,

Crackers, kids type £10 to 50p and adults down to 99p
Xmas bow packs 29p
Posh choc boxes £5 to 69p good few months left not xmas wrapped so fine for birthdays
All xmas type lindt stuff was about 19p
All posh makes and normal choc mega cheap
Packs of baubles from 19p
Paper cases with xmas things you stick in your home made cakes £5 to 19p
The only gifts in my store were science museum putty 49p
Pretty tubes of pencils, sharpener and rubber 19p
Big choc coins 2 in a pack 10p
Chock santas that you decorate with other !!!! n sweet bits 69p
Selection boxes with a good few things in i think were 49p
They hadnt got onto doing the cards yet but were working through theor list

The timing for this might be store specific but the one I went to today was reducing their Christmas gifts to pence.

Worth a look if passing a store, picked up a couple of bits like Science Museum Putty tins for 20p and some pretty tubes of pencils for 19p but didn't want to hang around and look too much as they were only just labelling and people were literally grabbing things out of the hands of the staff.
They also had lots of packs of baubles and cards for 10p, Guinness gift sets for 49p (these were flying!).

Last night my OH called to say the Waitrose near where he was staying near Kings Cross were selling of the Delia Chistmas cake kits for 49p! He got a couple for me. The chap sais Christmas Eve they were selling their Turkeys for 5p!!!!!!

I was just in Waitrose (Beaconsfield) and they had put out loads of Christmas stock and were literally marking it down as I was in there. 20x posh christmas charity cards - 99p
30x small charity cards - 35p
Small bottles of Jim Beam whiskey with toffees in gift tin - 75p
200g Lindt chocolates (inc. Irish Cream ones YUM!) £1.35
Loads of packs of chocolates, even non-xmas, 35p-99p

and loads more

People were beginning to flock round so not sure how long it'll last
