Hi all I will be honest I'm in the donkey doo,out of work,due to sickness grounds,ssp run out in nov,still no benefits having dispute with employer about a return,possibly ? I've got cc and loan with Tsb,cc is covered by ppi which they are great on, the loan not so much as they said it a pre existing condition,not what I was told when took out the loan,so basically there taking out money which I have not got,can I put hold on the account until I get back to some normality and can I contact Tsb anyway for free as there number is about fifty pence a minute.

What does your contract terms say for the loan ppi? Does it state that it excludes the pre-exisitng condition and states that condition?

See if you can find a cheaper number on www.saynoto0870.com. Alternatively, wander in to one of their branches and ask to borrow the phone.

If they still won't pay out, go down the reclaiming PPI route. Then you will get a lump sum lopped off the loan which may buy you some time.

No definitely not when I took out the loan the advisor was a old school friend,well sort of,all I was told that if I had any illness I could claim but I did tell them she said that be fine as I was still in work
